Kansas Career Expo
Wednesday, October 30, 2024 all USD 243 Lebo-Waverly freshmen will be attending the Kansas Career Expo in Hutchinson.
The following is an itinerary for the day:
9:30 Depart WHS w/ Mrs. Newton
9:50 P/U at LHS
11:50 Arrive and have lunch
Students will need money for lunch or may bring a sack lunch.
12:45 Arrive at Kansas Career Expo-State Fairgrounds
1-2:15 Kansas Career Expo Exploration
Concessions are available on site and students will need to bring money for concessions
2:30 Depart for home
4:30 Arrive at LHS
4:50 Arrive at WHS
Expected Dress: you may dress casually but NICE! Jeans, nice shorts and nice shirts are acceptable. Nice t-shirts and sweatshirts are acceptable. Please follow the dress code listed in the USD 243 Student Handbook.

Three Bulldogs got up before the sun today and traveled all the way to Wichita for the Friends University Middle School Honor Band! They got the music at 9 AM and performed the concert at 2, all while being super respectful, attentive, and meeting new people! Way to go, ladies!

WGS school picture retakes will take place in the afternoon on Tues. Oct. 22., 2024. Please make sure that the school office knows if you would like your child's picture retaken. Anyone who was absent on Picture Day will have their picture taken.
