Today was a day full of collaboration and fun for USD243 staff! After a morning of productive meetings, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch, graciously provided by Emporia State Federal Credit Union and served by our very own board president, Todd Wallace, and board members Matt Hopkins and Katelyn Haddock. The afternoon brought out the competitive spirit with team trivia, where "Distrix 11" took the crown! Congrats to Kelly Stice, Stephanie Stone, Christy Turner, Vicki Rosine, Linda True, and Hannah Ferguson for their victory. Way to go, team! #everystudenteveryday #usd243lebowaverly

Please join us for the 2nd annual Back to School Bash at Waverly High School from 4:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, August 14. This year, we will have inflatables, corn hole, soft-serve ice cream, slushies, and MT Networks serving hot dogs and bottled water. There will also be free haircuts for K-12 students and an opportunity for WHS Seniors to design their reserved parking sign. Hope to see you there!
