For the fourth year in a row, the class of 2027 has brought in the most food for the food drive! In total, the 6-12 students brought in 615 items!
WGS students had a blast joining WHS for Power Hour! They danced, had student recognitions, tackled Thanksgiving trivia, cheered on HS students in a game, and even got to see Ms. Demeter and Mr. Williams get pie-ed! What a fun way to celebrate together! #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog

NHS Members did some good works today! We went and picked up some supplies for God's Storehouse in Burlington, and the hygiene closets in both WHS and WGS, bringing some much needed goods to others who could use them for our Thanksgiving service project.
This student truly exemplifies what it means to be a PAWS student! 🐾 She always tries her best, helps her classmates and teacher, and is a kind friend to all. Thank you for being an amazing role model, Lottie! 👏✨

Missing a few days here and there doesn't seem like a big deal, but as you can see, a few school absences add up to a lot of missed instruction! Regular attendance is vital for student success. Research shows that students with chronic absenteeism are less likely to read proficiently by third grade, achieve in middle school, or graduate from high school.
Help your child succeed academically by talking with them about the importance of school. Establish morning and evening routines making bedtime and mornings less stressful and schedule non-essential appointments and vacations outside of the school day.
