The Lebo School Spelling Bee was today, January 17th. The School Champion is Rya Plummer, 8th Grade. Second Place is Colleen Davies (5th Grade) and Third Place is Meredith Davies (5th Grade). The School Bee went 32 rounds this afternoon. Rya spelled the word “charade” in the championship round. Rya, Colleen, and Meredith will represent Lebo at the Coffey County Spelling Bee on January 29th at Burlington at 9:00A.M.

The pronouncer for the Bee was Susan Love-Davies. Judges included Bev Gross, Bethany Thomas, and Misti Hampton. Vicki Rosine was the moderator. Amazon Gift certificates for the top three spellers were donated by Scott and Leanna Love.
